Ireland’s Horse and Pony Magazine is the only monthly magazine published and produced in Ireland for the sport horse industry. Ireland’s Horse and Pony Magazine was launched at the RDS in 2005 and was met with fantastic interest and support, now 7 years later, and with 70 publications behind us, we are going from strength to strength.

The magazine fills an important niche in promoting the sport horse industry here and abroad. We cover all aspects of the horse industry. We recognise that our reader wants to keep up to date with both national and international events, best industry practice, tips and training, health issues etc.

Author and Journalist Jacqui Broderick has been Editor of the magazine since 2006. Jacqui has had a life time of experience with horses and ponies, both as an owner and a competitor.

Regular contributors to the include Nicholas O’Hare who is well known for his column in the Irish Field. He is one of the most knowledgeable people in Ireland on the subject of the Irish Draught horse breed. Nicholas O’Hare is the author of a number of books about the Irish Draught breed and also on Irish equestrian personalities.

Another regular contributor is John Tynan who is the equestrian correspondent to the Irish Examiner.

We also have a resident vet, Henk Offereins, of Kenmare Veterinary Clinic, who keeps our readers informed each month .

Ireland’s Horse and Pony Magazine’s 2012 wall planners will be delivered from the 25th of January 2012.

The wall planners were done as a public awareness campaign for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
